Key Points

Once the course has expired, the candidate may avail the one-time course extension of three months for CALM course. The course extension merely extends validity of the course by three months and reinstates remaining examination attempts, if any.

Each candidate has a maximum of two examination attempts during the course validity period (including the course extension period). If the candidate avails the course extension, no additional examination attempts will be given.

The online examination for CALM course is conducted four times a year - March, June, September and December. The candidate must complete the course including all modules before registering for the exam. All enrolled candidates will receive exam announcement on email at least 30 days prior to the examination date subject to the active course validity.

If the course validity has expired or both examinations attempts have been exhausted, such candidates will not be eligible to register for any upcoming exam for CALM course.

For both the examination attempts, no separate exam fee will be charged. Once the course validity expires , the candidate becomes ineligible for further examinations.

The duration of the examination is 2 hours with MCQs based questions and no negative marking.

A minimum of 60% is required to pass the examination. If the candidate is unable to pass the exam in the first attempt, then the candidate may reappear for the next quarterly exam subject to active course validity.

Each candidate will receive the examination score via email within three working days of attempting the exam and certificate will be available within seven working days of successfully clearing the exam in the portal.

All exams will be coordinated and conducted quarterly by NISM.
